2. All items if returned for whatever reasons must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number, which is to be issued upon request through order@socanpower.ca. Items returned without RMA# will delay the process or be ignored.
3. In returning items to us, C.O.D. on shipments will not be accepted.


4. If you are not satisfied with our product(s), please contact us through order@socanpower.ca to obtain a RMA Number within fifteen (30) days of purchase. And products must be returned 100% complete, including all components, original boxes and packing materials, manuals, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. How to Raise LENOVO G560 CPU Fan Speeds on a Lenovo Laptop

If your business requires you to do a lot of work from your Lenovo laptop, you've probably noticed an occasional issue with overheating. Running several intensive programs on your laptop can raise the CPU temperature, causing the LENOVO G560 CPU Fan to engage. You may need to raise the speed of the fans from time to time to rapidly cool the CPU and prevent a sudden shutdown. You can boost CPU fan speed from your laptop's BIOS menu.

Step 1
Install the latest BIOS update on your laptop if necessary. This update can be downloaded free from the Lenovo Support page (link in Resources).

Step 2
Turn off your computer after you've installed the update. Turn the computer back on. When the boot screen appears, press and hold the "Delete" key to load the BIOS settings menu.

Step 3
Press the directional arrows on your keyboard to select "System Monitor." Press "Enter." Select "Fan Control" and then select "CPU Fan Speed Control."

Step 4
Switch the control from "Automatic" to "Manual." This allows you to manually control the CPU fan speed by percentage.

Step 5
Enter the desired percentage at which the fan should run. To run at full speed, enter "100" for 100 percent. You should only run fans at full speed for long enough to effectively cool the CPU.

Step 6
Press the "F10" key to reboot the computer and raise the speed of your CPU cooling fans. To return the fan speed to normal, repeat the above procedure but switch the LENOVO G560 CPU Fan control back to the "Automatic" setting.

What Causes LENOVO B575 Screen to Flicker?

Whether your LENOVO B575 Screen flickers occasionally or continuously, it's not only a distraction but it could mean that a hardware problem has developed. Troubleshooting the exact cause of a flickering screen can be challenging, but the cause may be something as minor as a loose cable.

Inverter Board
The inverter board provides the laptop's backlight lamp power. It does this by converting AC current to DC. If the inverter board is shorting out or failing, it could cause your laptop screen to flicker.

Backlight Lamp
The backlight lamp provides light to the LCD or LED laptop screen. LCD laptop screens generally use CCFL backlights, while LED screens use LED backlights. Your laptop's screen may flicker if the backlight lamp is failing or if the power cable from the inverter board is not securely connected.

Loose Cables
Your laptop screen can flicker if the connection between components is not secure. Can You Clean the Contact Between a CPU & Fan?

Step 1
Unplug the ASUS CPU Fan power cord from the motherboard and unscrew or unlock the connectors holding it down -- there is usually one in each corner. Pull it straight out of your computer case.

Step 2
Release the lever holding your CPU down, and then push the metal strips that were holding it down all the way back. Grip two corners of the CPU with two fingers, and then lift it straight out of the computer case.

Step 3
Set the CPU and CPU fan contact sides up on a clean paper towel. Dampen another paper towel or coffee filter with isopropyl alcohol, and then carefully wipe the thermal paste off the contact areas of your CPU and CPU fan. If necessary, dampen a cotton swab with the isopropyl alcohol to clean it out of any crevices it got into. When done, wait a moment for the CPU and CPU fan to dry completely.

Step 4
Put the CPU in the desired computer's CPU slot, and then lock it into place with the lever on the motherboard. Squeeze a small amount -- a bit smaller than pea-sized -- of new thermal paste onto the center of the CPU's metal plate.

Step 5
Position your CPU fan over the CPU, and then line up its four connectors with the four connections on the motherboard. Push it into place, and then lock the connectors in to secure it. The new thermal paste will spread to cover the contact areas on the CPU and ASUS CPU Fan. They are now ready for use.
